Youth are unquestionably the most viable and promising human resources for any community and social structure, particularly in developing nations such as Bangladesh, where approximately half of the population is between the ages of 15 and 25. Young people are the most effective social change agents, capable of instilling good energy and new ideas. Young people are determined to push innovation and reform. However, misguidedness and a lack of assistance can stymie youth’s potential and turn them into a burden on the nation. Bangladesh, on the other hand, has faced significant developmental obstacles. To reduce these barriers, there is an ongoing need for a platform for guiding and empowering today’s and tomorrow’s generations. Switch Bangladesh Foundation is a platform that brings together youth from all backgrounds to minimize social and economic inequities and build a better Bangladesh.

Switch Bangladesh Foundation (SBF), a non-profit organization founded in 2011, was established by a group of enthusiastic, inspired, and idealistic development experts and social workers in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The key motivation to establish this organization was their lofty ideals and passion for working with disadvantaged and marginalized children. These veteran development practitioners and social workers wanted to work with the disadvantaged, vulnerable people, especially the children, and provide them with necessities of life such as education, health, shelter, and clothing. The humble journey that started in 2011 is now progressing with unbound enthusiasm comprising of wholehearted support from the communities and some visionary individuals from all over the world.
